FIESOLE
And the View of Florence
The bus takes us from Florence along a beautiful cypress-lined serpentine road to Fiesole. After just 20 minutes you arrive in this picturesque little town. From here you have a dreamlike view of Florence and the surrounding countryside. The enchanting location, the pleasant climate and the fresh air make Fiesole the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. FIiesole was and is a refuge for artists and nobility. Even the Medici built a villa here to escape the summer heat of the city.
